DCA Mali and its partners have received 1 million USD in funding from UNOPS (UNMAS) to provide emergency victim assistance to survivors of explosive ordnance and SALW related accidents in the Segou and Mopti regions from March 2021 to 2023. In 2021, this has enabled project teams to deliver key awareness-raising sessions to approximately 8000 people on the risks posed by explosive ordnances and SALW, and to accompany more than 100 accident survivors through their physical and psychological recovery.
