Danida has provided DCA Mali with 5,7 million DKK to improve communities self-reliance, adaptation to the effects of climate change and social cohesion in the regions of Mopti and Timbuktu, from January to December 2021. This has enabled the provision of training and support to a total of 20 local peace committees, the organisation of intra and intercommunity dialogues and social cohesion events to 20 villages, as well as unconditional cash transfers to over 350 IDP and host community households to overcome chronic food insecurity during the lean season.
